Taste of Indonesia
With a full career in international business and many years of experience as owner of a coffee plantation, Lance Shay, founder of 7 South Coffee, believes treating workers fairly is paramount to business success. It is also a top priority to touch the earth lightly, managing the land and the trees with respect. This promotes long term sustainability for this generation and those in the future.
With one foot in Indonesia and one foot in the USA, we strive to bring first quality coffee to our customers around the world by working closely with the local villagers that do the daily hard work to plant, nurture, grow and harvest the coffee.
At 7 South Coffee, we also believe that education is the best way for people to improve their life and the life of their community. Therefore, we support free English language schools in rural areas as a way to help people to better communicate with the world outside their village, broaden their employment opportunities and lift their family to a stronger position. If you believe in education, try some of our coffee, because a portion of your money goes directly to local schools. After your first taste of 7 South Coffee, we are sure you will come back for more!
